The collection combines licensed footage, field recordings and original sound design. Quiet Courtyard uses AI-generated artwork with a gently animated pool; it is digital art, not filmed architecture. Each scene’s Sources identifies the material and its credits.

No Hue setup? Start with picture and sound. Lights are an optional part of the Experience, not a requirement for playback.

Can I use it without smart lights?
Yes. Scene picture and sound work without Hue. Compatible lights and a Hue Bridge are only needed when you choose to add room lighting.
Does it match my lights to any film or game?
Experience OS lights follow the authored scene and theme. It does not analyse other apps, films or games to mirror their colours.
Do I need Apple Music?
No. Experiences have their own sound. Apple Music is an optional, separate service for listening to your own music selection. Its availability depends on your Apple Account and playback device.
Can downloaded scenes play offline?
Fireplace Night is included with the app. Other scenes download as verified packages. After installation, their picture and sound can play offline, with valid Premium access where required. Shared controls, downloads and Apple Music may still need a connection.
Are all the sounds and pictures recorded?
No. The collection combines licensed footage and recordings with original procedural sound compositions. Quiet Courtyard is AI-generated artwork with authored water animation. Sources and licence credits are visible in the app; generated art is not presented as human footage.
What happens when I delete a shared profile?
In the updated app and service, the profile controls let you request deletion for the whole shared profile and its linked devices. Playback and equipment restoration must finish first. Confirmed deletion removes the profile’s live service data and revokes device access; it does not cancel subscriptions or erase downloads, every local recovery record, backups or earlier diagnostics. Read the Privacy Policy for retained recovery data and other limits. A connection failure is not proof of deletion.
Can I download it from the App Store now?
Not yet. The iPhone and Apple TV apps are in pre-release TestFlight testing. There is no public App Store release or open beta sign-up at present.
